The Scouts are coming to Sotterley! Come and hear from some talented and dedicated Scouts about the community service projects they are currently working on or have completed. Free grounds admission and 50% off Guided Tour price for all Scouts and their families.
Also - our friends from the Southern Maryland Astronomical Society (SMAS) will be here with their solar observation equipment. Come and check out the daytime sky safely!
Join us for a special morning dedicated to America's favorite pet! Demos and specialty vendors for all things "dog". Furry family members are welcome to join the fun, and we invite you to walk Sotterley's trails after the event. More details to come.
Join us for a special, day-long market with activities for the whole family!
The market will open at 8:00am as per normal, but it will stay open until 4:00pm. The day’s activities will include a live cooking demo with The Cow and The Fish, a beekeeper's presentation, a glass bead demo, tractor demos and pulls, an exhibit and demonstration from the Southern Maryland Antique Power Association, live music, kids’ activities and face painting, food trucks, free Plantation House open house tours, free self-guided tours with access to the exhibits and grounds, vendors, and more. There will not be an admission fee for this event, but we will gratefully accept donations for our Growing for Good program! Over the past four years, our Growing for Good program has donated over 30,000 lbs. of produce to our local food banks and food pantries – your donations will help us continue to serve our community!
This family-friendly event will be a great way to kick-off our nation’s upcoming 4th of July week. We look forward to seeing you there!
